Subject Information File relates to Mary Ryan’s unsuccessful application under the Army Pensions Acts in respect of the death of her brother David Tobin who was shot and killed by British forces at Ballylanders, County Limerick on 1 January 1921. Noted in file that Tobin was shot while attempting to evade capture. Mary Ryan deemed not to be dependent on the deceased.
