File relates to Charlotte Johnston's receipt of a partial dependents' gratuity of £112.10.00 (one hundred and twelve pounds and ten shillings sterling) in 1933 under the Army Pensions Acts in respect of her son IRA Private Joseph Johnston.
Joseph Johnston was executed by National Army forces at the Curragh Military Barracks on 19 December 1922. He had been charged and convicted, with others, by Military Court of having been in possession without proper authority of rifles, ammunition, bomb detonators and an exploder on the 12 December 1922.
