Subject Information File relates to Mary O'Donoghue’s application under the Army Pensions Acts in respect of the death of her husband Patrick O'Donoghue who was injured in a bomb explosion at the corner of Patrick Street and Princes Street, Cork on 23 November 1920. Deceased was brought to Mercy Hospital, Cork where died a number of hours later. Mary O'Donoghue made an unsuccessful application for £7,000 compensation under the Compensation (Personal Injuries) Committee and the Compensation (Ireland) Commission.
