File relates to Daniel and Mary O'Connor's receipt of a partial dependents' gratuity of £50 (fifty pounds sterling) - increased from £25 on appeal - under the Army Pensions Act, 1923 in respect of their son National Army Private Denis O'Connor.
Private Denis O'Connor died on 29 September 1922 from the effects of a gun shot wound received by him in Killorglin, County Kerry on 27 September 1922 during the Civil War.
