File includes: handwritten material submitted by Julie O'Brien in support of her application; letter from Quartermaster General's Department, Army Pay Corps, Dependents' Section to the Army Pensions Department, stating that Julie O'Brien was not receiving dependents' allowance in respect of another of her sons, Barry O'Brien (National Army Service number 55864); typed and signed report of 5 March 1924 from Defence Forces Adjutant Lieutenant General Gearóid O'Suilleavain to Ministry of Defence, Army Pensions Department regarding the date and circumstances of Daniel O'Brien's death; handwritten Garda Síochána report dated 23 March 1924, regarding the circumstances and means of the Julie O'Brien, her residence with her daughter and her level of dependence on Daniel O'Brien at the time of his death and letter dated 22 August 1924, from the Irish National Teachers' Pensions Office, stating that, as a retired national school teacher, Julie O'Brien is in receipt of a pension of £130 per annum.
