Subject Information File relates to Margaret Martin’s application under the Army Pensions Acts in respect of the death of her son John Martin who was killed along with Private Hannon in an ambush at Barry's/Brennan's Glen, Farrenmore, County Kerry on 27 September 1922. Dependants Allowance was paid from March 1922 to March 1924 from Army Funds. Reference made to Martin having engagements during the Civil War in both the Four Courts, Dublin and County Kilkenny.
