Subject Information File relates to Elizabeth Bray's receipt of a partial dependents' gratuity of £100 (one hundred pounds sterling) in respect of her son National Army Private 30106 Patrick Bray. Private Patrick Bray was killed on 16 September 1922 in an engagement with the IRA (Irregulars) at Glenamoy, County Mayo. According to evidence on this and related files, Patrick Bray was one of possibly up to 6 members of the National Forces party killed in this engagement.
