Scope and Content File relates to the submission of documentation regarding the activities of the 2 Brigade to the Referee under the Military Service Pensions Act, 1934 by the 2 Brigade Committee. File contains handwritten details of the activities of 1 and 2 battalion of the 2 Brigade, 4 Northern Division. Some activities are assigned to specific companies whereas others refer in general terms to 1 or 2 battalions. On occasion some companies provide details as to how many members of the company took part in a given activity. Some activities are undated. 1 Battalion - Attical, Killowen and Greencastle companies. 2 Battalion - Ballyholland, Barraglen (referred to as Barr or Glen), Corrogs, Hilltown, Warrenpoint, Newry, Mayobridge and Sheeptown companies. Dates of material covered within A52: 1911 – 1922.
