Scope and Content File relates to the submission of documentation regarding the activities of the Kilkenny Brigade to the Referee under the Military Service Pensions Act, 1934 by the Kilkenny Brigade Committee. File contains: correspondence between Thomas Meagher, brigade secretary and the Office of the Referee concerning the difficulties in acquiring records of activities from certain battalions; typed list entitled ‘activities in Kilkenny, 1920-1921’; handwritten list of the membership of the Active Service Unit operating in 3 Battalion area in July 1922; handwritten details, including date of operation and names of those involved, of the activities of 2-6 and 8 battalions (note that the records of 4 Battalion makes reference to an accompanying list/index of activities).
