Title North Dublin/Fingal District Council
Scope and Content File contains material relating to the Cumann na mBan membership for North Dublin/Fingal District Council which was comprised of the following seven (7) branches: Artane, Balbriggan, Blanchardstown, Finglas/St Margaret's, Howth, Portrane and Skerries. The strength of the District Council on 11 July 1921 was 131 and 77 on the 1 July 1922. The figures are drawn from the record as strength is indicated for each branch at both critical dates. Also contains a typed account of the involvement of the North County Dublin area in the national movement. The three page document covers topics such as the number of branches (Lusk and Swords are listed as branches in that document), list of activities in 1916, 1917 up until 1921 and names of active members.
