Scope and Content Material relating to activity during Easter Week 1916 in County Wexford with particular reference to Enniscorthy including: copies of documentation relating to the application of the 1924 Military Service Pensions Act regarding the questions of what constitutes active service and service for Easter Week 1916 under the act; document entitled “Qualifying Active Service, M/S. Pension Act, 1934; copies of statements made before and submitted to the Pensions Advisory Board by former County Wexford Volunteer members relating to events in that county during Easter Week 1916; lists of names of individuals who participated in activity in Enniscorthy during Easter Week 1916 compiled by the North Wexford Brigade Old I.R.A.; tracing paper map of Enniscorthy with key, identifying significant sites relating to activity in the town during Easter Week 1916; copy of copy of typescript document entitled “Easter Week 1916” giving a general overview and commentary on the operation of the 1924 and 1934 Military Service Pensions acts in relation to the definition and computation of 1916 pension awards as well as providing recommendations for the official recognition of certain defined categories of Volunteers who do not qualify for a pension.
