Scope and Content Letters from the Department of Defence requesting the Secretary of the General Prisons Board to furnish particulars of any sentences to imprisonment with or without hard labour in excess of three months or to penal servitude for any term passed by any court since 6 December 1921 for men who were to be granted certificates by the Board of Assessors. Page 117 to125 deal with the 1934 Act.
