Subject Information The file relates to Michael McNulty's receipt of a military service pension in respect of his service with the IRA in the service periods between 1 April 1921 and 30 June 1922. The applicant also claimed unsuccessfully for the service periods between 1 April 1918 and31 March 1921, and the periods between 1 July 1922 and 30 September 1923. The applicant claims to have been involved in intelligence work, claims to have been involved in the care and keeping of arms and equipment; claims to have provided goods from his shop to the value of sixty or seventy pounds; the applicant claims to have been captured by British forces in May 1921, imprisoned until Christmas 1921; claims to have been at an internment camp in Kildare.
