Claims that she was a member of Aughagower Company and that she took part in routine activities. States that she saved the life of a John Duffy whose home was surrounded by British forces. Says that his home was surrounded and that he had to spend three hours in a river. Hastings claims that she took Duffy into her home and gave him dry clothing and food. States that she also carried arms and was involved in dispatch work.
