File relates to Miss Anne Conway’s successful application for Special Allowance under the Army Pensions Acts in respect of illness or disability. She was originally turned down in 1947 but successfully re-applied.
Miss Anne Conway was awarded a Service (1917-1921) Medal for her membership of Cumann na mBan in 1947 – information file held in 34SP11567 (missing). Her service was certified by Mrs T Moane (Officer Commanding, Cumann na Ban) and Edward Moane (MSP34REF50) (Brigade Vice Commandant). It is stated on file that the subject was Branch Secretary of Westport Branch, [West Mayo Brigade], Cumann na mBan.
