| Subject Information |
File relates to Delia Garvey's unsuccessful application for a military service pension in respect of her claimed service with Cumann na mBan for part of the periods between 1 April 1917 and 30 September 1923.
Claims that she was a member of Glenisland Branch, West Mayo Brigade and took part in routine activities. Says that she cooked for IRA members, assisted to raise funds, wrote out dispatches, washed and provided the IRA with lodgings. Garvey claims that she carried out similar duties in the Truce period and Civil War.
