Subject Information File relates to Margaret Fergus' unsuccessful application for a military service pension in respect of her claimed service with Cumann na mBan for part of the periods between 1 April 1917 and 30 September 1923. Claims that she was a member of Tiernaur Branch, West Mayo Brigade, having joined in May 1917 and that she was involved in routine Cumann na mBan branch activities. States that she assisted in organising other districts and that sher was involved in fund raising. Fergus mentions that she sent parcels to prisoners and to men on the run.
